Ingredients
  

  • Frozen Hash Brown Patties:
  • 2 frozen hash brown patties
  • Shredded Hash Browns Fresh or Thawed:
  • 1 cup shredded potatoes
  • 1 tsp avocado oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder optional

Equipment

  • Air fryer (basket-style or oven-style)
  • Spatula or tongs (for flipping)
  • Bowl (if using shredded potatoes)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (or 200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. For frozen patties: Place them in the basket in a single layer, no oil needed.

  3. For shredded hash browns: Pat dry, season with oil, salt, and garlic powder.

  4. Air fry frozen patties for 8–10 minutes, flipping at 5 minutes if desired.

  6. Remove once golden and crisp. Serve hot.

Notes

  • No oil needed for frozen patties—they're pre-oiled.
  • For shredded hash browns, always dry thoroughly before cooking.
  • Add paprika, cheddar, or herbs for bonus flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers at 375°F for 3–5 minutes to maintain crisp.
