Equipment

  • 1 Glass (8–12 oz) For serving the drink
  • 1 Spoon For stirring the salt into water
  • 1 Citrus Juicer Optional, to squeeze fresh lemon

Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp Himalayan pink salt Use 0.25 tsp if new to salt water
  • 1 Lemon Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 cup Filtered water Room temperature
  • Optional Add-ins
  • Amount Unit Name Notes
  • 2 slices Ginger For digestion support
  • 3 leaves Mint For refreshing flavor

Instructions

  • Add 8–12 oz of filtered water to a glass.
  • Stir in ½ teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt until fully dissolved.

  • Drink on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning.

Notes

If you're salt-sensitive or new to this routine, start with ¼ tsp of pink salt.
Avoid pairing this drink with high-sodium meals.
For ease, create a saturated salt concentrate and add 1 tsp of that to water daily.
