Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl Glass recommended
  • 1 Spoon or whisk For stirring gelatin mixture
  • 4 Small jars Or ramekins, for chilling
  • 1 Kettle For brewing tea

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Unflavored gelatin Bloomed in cold water before mixing
  • 1 cup Hibiscus tea Brewed strong or raspberry herbal tea
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice Or 5 drops liquid stevia; optional splash of juice
  • 1 Water For blooming the gelatin about ¼ cup

Instructions

  • Brew 1 cup of strong hibiscus or raspberry tea and set aside.
  • In a bowl, sprinkle gelatin over ¼ cup cold water. Let it bloom for 3–5 minutes.
  • Pour hot tea over the bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add lemon juice or stevia to taste. Stir again.
  • Pour into 4 small jars or molds. Chill for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  • Serve cold. Store covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

For a protein boost, stir in 1 tbsp collagen peptides before chilling.
Want firmer cubes? Use 1.5 tbsp gelatin per cup of liquid.
Add fruit pieces or herbal infusions for flavor and texture.
Ideal for intermittent fasting, post-bariatric recovery, or low-carb diets.
