Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • refrigerator-safe containers or molds

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (optional)

Instructions

  • Pour cold water into a mixing bowl and evenly sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the surface. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  • Slowly add hot water while whisking continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  • Stir in optional flavorings such as lemon juice or honey until fully combined.
  • Pour the mixture into small containers, jars, or molds for setting.
  • Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours until fully set and firm.
  • Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries.

Notes

Always bloom the gelatin in cold water first to prevent clumping. You can adjust sweetness using honey or leave it unsweetened. For best texture, allow at least 2–4 hours of chilling time. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
