Equipment

  • 1 Small saucepan For heating the tea
  • 1 Mixing bowl For blooming the gelatin
  • 1 Whisk For combining ingredients
  • 4 Small jars or molds For setting the jello

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Hibiscus or raspberry tea Brewed unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Fresh squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Gelatin powder Grass-fed unflavored
  • 1/8 tsp Himalayan salt Optional for added minerals
  • 5 –10 drops Liquid stevia Or use 1 tsp monk fruit to taste

Instructions

  • Brew your tea and let it cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, add ½ cup of the tea and sprinkle gelatin evenly on top. Let bloom for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 cup of tea until hot but not boiling.
  • Pour the hot tea over the bloomed gelatin and whisk until fully dissolved.
  • Stir in lemon juice, salt, and sweetener. Taste and adjust as needed.
  • Pour the mixture into molds or small jars. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  • Serve chilled, ideally 15–30 minutes before meals.

Notes

For a hormone-support version, substitute raspberry leaf tea.
To break a fast, use green tea as the base and skip sweetener.
For kids, swap in diluted fruit juice and natural fruit puree.
