Japanese Pink Salt Recipe

This Japanese pink salt recipe is a simple 4-ingredient morning detox drink that supports digestion, hydration, and gentle weight loss. Inspired by Japanese wellness traditions, it’s made with warm water, pink Himalayan salt, lemon juice, and optional apple cider vinegar.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt Fine-ground uniodized
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed preferred
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Optional – organic with “mother”
  • 8 oz Warm Water Not boiling just comfortably warm

Equipment

  • 1 Glass or mug Heat-safe for warm water
  • 1 Spoon For stirring salt into water
  • 1 Measuring spoons For salt and lemon

Method
 

  1. Add pink Himalayan salt to the glass of water.
  2. Stir in lemon juice and apple cider vinegar (if using).
  3. Sip slowly first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Notes

Drink this only once per day, ideally in the morning before eating.
Avoid if on sodium-restricted diets or if sensitive to acid.
Omit ACV if you experience reflux or stomach irritation.
