Equipment

  • Small whisk or matcha frother (for smooth blending)
  • Heat-safe cup or small mixing bowl
  • Measuring Spoon (1/2 tsp and 1 tbsp)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/2 tsp white or yellow miso paste
  • 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or yuzu if available
  • 1/2 cup warm not boiling water

Instructions

  • Add matcha and miso to a small bowl or cup.

  • Pour in warm water and whisk until dissolved.
  • Add lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.
  • Stir well and taste. Adjust lemon or ACV if needed.
  • Drink immediately, or chill up to 24 hours.

Notes

  • Start with half the vinegar if you're new to ACV drinks.
  • Use warm—not hot—water to preserve nutrients.
  • For a cold version, mix with chilled green tea.
  • Not recommended late in the evening due to caffeine in matcha.
