- Juice the lime into a glass or jar.
- Add grated ginger or squeeze in ginger juice.
- Add cayenne pepper.
- Pour in the water and stir well.
- Add maple syrup or honey if using. Stir again.
- Serve chilled, over ice, or warm (not boiling).
Notes
- Can be made in batches and stored in the fridge for 2 days.
- Use sparkling water for a fizzy variation.
- Warm water is great for a soothing morning version.
