Ingredients

  • Amount Unit Name Notes
  • 1 berberine capsule 500 mg or use powdered form
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar with the “mother”
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon Ceylon preferred
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger or 1 tsp fresh grated
  • 0.5 lemon juiced optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional
  • 0.5 cup warm water not boiling

Instructions

  • Open the berberine capsule and add the powder to a small glass.
  • Add the apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, ginger, and lemon juice.
  • Pour in the warm water.
  • Stir thoroughly until well mixed.
  • Add optional cayenne or honey if desired.
  • Drink as a morning shot or before a heavy meal.

Notes

  • Use Ceylon cinnamon for better digestion.
