Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups
  • refrigerator-safe containers

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • to taste sugar-free flavoring (optional)

Instructions

  • Pour cold water into a bowl and sprinkle unflavored gelatin evenly over the surface. Let it bloom for 3–5 minutes.
  • Add hot water and stir continuously until the gelatin fully dissolves and the mixture becomes clear.
  • Stir in optional sugar-free flavoring if desired, adjusting to taste.
  • Pour the mixture into individual serving containers.
  • Refrigerate for 2–4 hours until fully set.
  • Serve chilled as a light snack or dessert.

Notes

Use unflavored gelatin for best control over sweetness and texture. Always bloom gelatin in cold water before adding hot liquid to prevent clumping. Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours until fully set. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
