Method
- Juice the lime into a glass or jar.
- Grate or juice fresh ginger and add it to the lime juice.
- Sprinkle in a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Pour in filtered water and stir thoroughly.
- Add maple syrup or honey if using, and mix again.
- Serve immediately or chill for later use.
Notes
- You can swap lime with lemon if preferred.
- Adjust cayenne to your heat tolerance.
- Best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
- Use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
