Equipment

  • Citrus juicer For fresh lime juice
  • Grater or Zester For fresh ginger
  • Glass Jar For mixing and storing

Ingredients

  • 1 Lime Juiced
  • 1 tsp Ginger Fresh grated
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Filtered Water Room temp or cold
  • 0.5 tsp Maple Syrup Or honey optional sweetener

Instructions

  • Juice the lime into a glass or jar.
  • Grate or juice fresh ginger and add it to the lime juice.
  • Sprinkle in a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Pour in filtered water and stir thoroughly.
  • Add maple syrup or honey if using, and mix again.
  • Serve immediately or chill for later use.

Notes

  • You can swap lime with lemon if preferred.
  • Adjust cayenne to your heat tolerance.
  • Best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
