Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup warm water or herbal tea
  • 1 scoop protein powder or collagen (optional)
  • natural sweetener to taste (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  • Add gelatin to cold water and let it sit for 2–3 minutes until it thickens.
  • Warm the water or herbal tea gently without boiling.
  • Stir the bloomed gelatin into the warm liquid until fully dissolved.
  • Add protein powder or collagen if using and mix well.
  • Add sweetener or lemon juice to adjust flavor.
  • Pour into containers and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until set.

Notes

Do not overheat gelatin as it may affect texture. Always bloom gelatin before mixing to avoid clumps. Use light sweeteners and moderate protein powder to maintain a smooth consistency.
