Abby’s Story: Founder of EATWELLWELL

Abby pikmann the founder of EATWELLWELL

Hi there, I’m Abby Pinkmann, a 36-year-old homegrown chef just outside Austin, Texas, and the founder of EATWELLWELL. Cooking has always been my love language. I believe that food doesn’t need to be complicated to be beautiful, it just needs to be made with care. That’s the heart behind this site.

I grew up in a big, loud family with three siblings and two hardworking parents. My mom had this incredible way of turning humble pantry staples into magic, dinner in 30 minutes flat, and everyone left the table full and happy. She taught me that nourishment goes beyond calories. It’s about comfort, connection, and love.

In my twenties, a “five-ingredient dinner party” challenge sparked something in me. I fell back in love with food, not just cooking it, but sharing it. I started EATWELLWELL to make eating well joyful, accessible, and stress-free. Whether you’re a parent trying to feed picky eaters, a student on a tight budget, or just someone tired of over-complicated meals, I’ve got you.

This site began with me, but it’s grown into something much richer, with the help of my two favorite collaborators.

Meet My Sisters: Sarah and Paula Pinkmann

Family has always been my flavor compass, so it feels natural that EATWELLWELL is now a sister-powered kitchen. My sisters, Sarah and Paula, each bring their own spice to the pot, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this space with them.

Sarah is the heart of cozy comfort food. She’s our in-house baker, big-batch brunch planner, and the one most likely to say, “Let’s just add a little more butter.” Her approach is warm, generous, and designed to bring people together.

Paula is our resident meal-hacker, she makes weeknight dinners faster, easier, and more creative than I ever thought possible. She’s a master of the 20-minute dinner and the queen of smart grocery shortcuts.

Together, we test, taste, and tinker until every recipe feels like one you’ll come back to again and again. Because that’s what this site is about: bringing joy back to your table, one simple, delicious meal at a time.

About Sarah Pinkmann

Co-Creator, Baker, and Brunch Architect – Age 39
At 39, Sarah is the eldest of the Pinkmann siblings and the one most likely to bring a pie to your door “just because.” A former elementary school teacher turned full-time home baker, Sarah’s cooking style is rooted in comfort, nostalgia, and family tradition, with a twist of cinnamon.

Her love for baking bloomed early. At age 12, she tried to make muffins without asking Mom first, and used salt instead of sugar. Everyone still jokes about “the Great Muffin Incident,” but Sarah took it as a challenge. She’s been perfecting the art of warm, crowd-pleasing baking ever since.

Sarah brings the cozy factor to EATWELLWELL with her weekend brunch spreads, big-batch breakfast bakes, and from-scratch treats that feel like a hug. Her kitchen motto? “Bake more than you need, someone will always show up hungry.

About Paula Pinkmann

Co-Creator, Recipe Tester, and Time-Saving Genius – Age 29
Paula, the youngest of the three sisters at 29, is the queen of smart cooking. A working mom of one and full-time efficiency expert (in and out of the kitchen), she’s known for turning “what’s in the fridge?” into magic in under 20 minutes.

Her signature story? The time she threw together a pasta dish from frozen peas, lemon, and leftover rotisserie chicken during a power outage, on a camp stove. It was so good, her friends demanded the recipe, and it became a core EATWELLWELL favorite: “Stormy Day Pasta.”

Paula’s recipes are fast, flexible, and full of flavor, designed for people who want real food without the stress. She’s all about using what you have, skipping unnecessary steps, and making dinner feel doable even on your busiest days.
